How storage works
Four steps from your room to storage and back. We do the heavy lifting.
- Step 1
Book your collection
Choose what you are storing, your dates and your Durham address, then pay online to confirm your booking.
- Step 2
Pack your things
Use your standard box, up to 60 × 40 × 40 cm and 20 kg. Suitcases, bags and larger items go as they are. We do not offer a packing service.
- Step 3
We collect and label
We send your time slot the day before. At your door we label every item with its own ID and count them with you.
- Step 4
We store and return
Your things stay in secure storage over summer. We bring them back to your Durham address and send your delivery slot the day before.
What is included
In every summer booking
Your standard box, collection from your door, storage until 30 September (or 31 July on the shorter option) and delivery back to you.
In every short stay
Collection, storage for the length of stay you choose and delivery back to you. Boxes are an extra £5 each if you need one.
Not included
Packing and oversized items. Oversized items are quoted. If you need to keep things longer, choose short term storage. Packing tape is an optional extra at £3.00 a roll.
Insurance
Every box is insured for up to £100 while it is in our care, from collection until it is delivered back to you.
When we work
We collect and deliver on weekdays only. We do not collect or deliver at weekends or on bank holidays.
Every item has its own label
Each box, case and bag gets an ID label when we collect it. We count your items at your door and scan them again when they go into storage, so we always know where your things are.
